It’s December and I just updated to 3.3!

Oh yes! The Christmas season is once again at the peak of the peakest peak! I know, Merriam Webster doesn’t agree with the word peakest, but we have the urban dictionary and the work “peakest” exists! Hahaha! Recently, I read in the WordPress blog that Sonny was officially released yesterday! Who’s Sonny? Sonny is the codename for the latest WordPress version! Oh yeah! Another WP version was released and I’m so loving it! It’s the version after 3.2!

Guess what’s the version the number? It’s 3.3! You know, after 2, it’s 3! Then I have a premonition that by January next year, there will be another new version of WordPress and it will be version 3.4! Hahahaha!

Sorry for talking nonsense, but I love 3.3 because it’s awesome! The drag and drop uploaded is what I’ve been waiting for a very very very long time! Now I can upload pictures easily by just dragging it and dropping in my WP admin panel!

Isn’t it awesome? I bet it is! Merry Christmas guys!

The Aftermath of Blog Hopping

Inspiration is the aftermath of blog hopping. I’ve been through a lot of blogs today and I noticed one thing, I was inspired. I was inspired a hundreds of awesome design blogs to turn this blog into a design blog. Now, this is not just a personal blog or a nonsense blog that no one reads. I’ll be blogging more about web design, logo design, icon design, and anything related to design.

So now, I’m adding a design category in my blog. Wooosh! This is great! The Mummy Ninja is now a design. I’m no longer a Mummy and a Ninja, I’m also a designer. So now, I may call myself “The Mummy Ninja Designer”. Hmmmm… Or perhaps, “The Designer Mummy Ninja”. Hmmm? I think the former sounds better than the latter.

That’s all for today. I’ll continue my blog hopping journey and make more friends in the world wide web!

What do to next?

So after having a free blog and a free domain, what’s next? This is a question that a lot of bloggers have been asking. If you’re asking same question, then you’re part of a lot of bloggers who are asking the same question. Ok? Oh yeah. Yes I know you and you don’t me.

Before I start talking nonsense, let me first answer what I asked myself. What do to next?

Next thing to do is write and write and write, and visit other blogs. Leaving a comment to other blogs so that they will also visit mine. There’s about 22% chance that the blogger of the blog that you left a comment will visit your blog. So, if I visit 1000 blogs, then leave a comment to all those blogs (useful comments), approximately 220 bloggers will also visit my blog.

The statistics are based on my unreliable imagination and intuition. If you trust me instinct, you’ll have around 220 new visitors if you leave a useful comment to 1000 active blogs.

So how to look for active blogs? It’s easy. All you need to do is check its recent post. If the blogger posted a year ago, then he or she is not active anymore. If the blogger posted a month, a week, or a day ago, then that blogger is active. Once you’ve verified that the blogger is active, then you’re lucky! Read the blogger’s recent post, then leave a comment related to that post. In that way, the blogger will also visit your blog if he or she is curious who you are. There are only 22% curious bloggers, that’s why there’s 22% chance that your blog gets visited.

Ok? That’s my tip for the day of what to do next. Wait for the Mummy Ninja’s next post. You’ll learn a lot from me! I promise you that!
